Day 4 - Coober Pedy - Erldunda

We had a look around Coober Pedy today - I think the consensus is that it it is now considered to be ticked off our bucket list. There was a power outage so couldn't take a tour and lots was closed. We managed a coffee from a man we think was Larry's uncle, who also sold a ring to Brendan for Carmel. (Mark was too tight!) 😀

We did visit the Catholic Church there too. It was very quaint. We thought the 'tail-end' party might like to stop there for Mass. 9am each day - can someone please ask Darryl too check this blog on his iPad so he knows the time.

We then hit the road for the long drive to Erldunda. Loving the changes in the landscape and colours out here. Because it has rained recently, there is even water in some dams and some flowers starting to appear in places.

We got even further than this point below!

Erldunda treated us to the coldest night in the universe. It was so cold, even Brendan had long pants and a coat on. For those of us who know Mr Storer, who grew up in balmy Tolmie, that means it was bloody cold!
