Day 2 - Renmark - Port Augusta

NRose to a glorious day! The Murray at Renmark is so wide and it was like glass. However pleasant it was though, didn't explain why skiers were on river in winter. That was unexplainable and just plain stupid!
We had a very leisurely start and hit Burra in time for lunch. We saw that Dags is obviously an important person there.

We indulged in the famous Burra Cornish pasties for lunch, then hit the road for Port Augusta, via Port Pirie.  Beautiful, green countryside, with rolling hills a bit reminiscent of the high country in Ireland, with hardly a tree to be seen.

Brendan spent some time with friends.
