Coral Bay and Monkey Mia

Lots of fun on glass bottom boat and snorkelling in the crystal clear water of coral bay.

A rather large species appered under the glass bottom boat

Certainly not a mermaid - but closely related.

Sunrise at monkey Mia - Foxy was there very early....

Followed by an appearance by an inquisitive green turtle

Then lots of dolphins including 2 baby ones

Lou was lucky enoug to be chosen to feed one...

We stayed at the beautiful Hamelin Station. A delicious tea of pumpkin soup and hamburger were on the menu for $10. It was great to have a night off cooking and washing.  We enjoyed meeting fellow campers around the camp fire.  All was good until Darryl, in his freshly donned layers of clothing, was attacked by stink beetles. Ugh

The cockle shells were amazing - and H, des! Barb and Rob were doing what they do best - having a drink!!

Darryl the next morning in his fresh clothes.

Snotty Gobble - according to Kaye makes a great cubby house!!
