Looking after FOXY - Brownie has responded!!

UPDATE - Brownie has responded to the last lot of pics of Foxy in bed with 3 men in typical farmer fashion! (Lucky he is not from New Zealand).

As you know, Brownie aka Donkey aka Hee Haw, headed for home on Thursday to attend to farm duties.

He asked his fellow travellers to 'take care of Eleanor' which they proceeded to do - and are continuing to!!

Darryl made sure she didn't fall out natures window ...

Then Rob took her shopping for a new bikini, shedding a tear at the cost on his credit card.

Even Henry! Bridget flat mates dog has pitched in to help!!

Don't worry about her Brownie, Adrian and Renn - she is in good hands!!

We will keep you up to date as the trip progresses.

STOP PRESS: JUST WHERE HAVE THE LITTLES BEEN?

We thought they were lost but some photos of their escapades have just been emailed. They have been swimming with humpbacks, camping and Quobba and even finding Nemo. Here's some pics of their travels.

A carpet of wildflowers near Overlander Roadhouse.

Chasing dolphins at Monkey Mia

They'd obviously had a big dinner!

Across the Nullarbor to home....

Lunch was soup at Norseman. Norseman is a kinda strange town in the west - you kind of think that when you see a town in large bold writing on the map, the assumption is that it is a major, maybe even bustling place.  Not this one haha We found a cafe with the coffee sign Brendan required but we weren't quite sure if we should be eating there - we risked it. The reading material in the cafe probably explains the feel of the town.

Nervously awaking their fate

A priceless table decoration - note: cup and saucer being picked up with one hand (x-files music needs to played while reading this now)

Crossing the zebra crossing

Stop no 1: Cocklebiddy roadhouse
The places you meet people! Thought we'd meet Storers in the bar for a quick nightcap. The lady serving at the bar asked the usual 'Where are you from?' On telling her, she said she was from Beechworth, but had lived in Benalla for a while - Jenny McIntosh (previously McNeill) whose son went to school with Shane when they were small and had lived up the road from us years ago. Very small world.

Poor thing!

The Storers and us separated here. They went off to explore the Eyre Peninsula, us with the intention of spending a couple of days somewhere there beachside.

Health food for the trip

Stop no 2: Nullarbor roadhouse & Head of the Bight

It was far too cold for whale watching but we had to. They come so close to the shore - amazing. Beautiful spot.

Then we headed for home - the weather forecast wasn't going to let us stay under canvas any longer so we are saving it for later.

Hancocks lookout, just south of Port Augusta, off Horrocks Pass. Spectacular view!

There we are, Murphy's are done. Hope the rest of the travellers are continuing to have a fantastic holiday (even though we are jealous and hate them!) Keep the updates coming guys!
